Rehab Work
For rehab work, the 5700-C matches gutter line to uneven pavement while maintaining curb height. Difficult road reconstruction projects can be slipformed quickly and efficiently without a lot of wasted set-up time. The adjustable offset allows you to place the crawler in the best position when pouring adjacent to an existing road.
While the 5700-C stays on the line, the mold offset can be hydraulically adjusted 16" (40.6cm) vertically and 24" (61cm) horizontally for flexible reconstruction work.

Sidewalk
Pour sidewalk up to 6' (1.8m) wide in the offset position plus monolithic curb, gutter & sidewalk. The hydraulically extendable right-rear straddle leg allows more flexibility in crawler placement when pouring sidewalk or median barrier. Lateral side shift gives you 80" (203cm) of movement. The carbide tooth trimmer cuts through the hardest subgrade, speeding production.

Paths for Golf Carts, Bicycles or Sidewalks up to 10' Wide
Paths can be easily poured in the center position. The auger and trimmer are removed and the concrete mix is dumped into a hopper at the front of the machine. |

Barrier & Parapet
The 5700-C has the muscle to tackle barrier and parapet up to 50" (132cm) high in the offset position. The standard 36" (91.4cm) post extension makes the 5700-C a great barrier and parapet machine, whether lifting off steel or pouring below grade. A low center of gravity and balanced weight-to-size ratio make the 5700-C ideal for barrier and parapet.
Customer Comment: "The machine did fine (pouring 50-inch barrier). There was no trouble with it slipping. There were 6 vibrators in the mold, so I wanted to make sure that it held to the ground. It worked in a nice, neat line."

The 5700-C can be adapted for special applications like placing stadium risers. A special mold, combined with our engineering and field service expertise, enables you to slipform the risers at least 4 times faster than by hand.
Producing two steps per pass in stadium risers saves enormous time over hand forming. |
