Construction Equipment magazine announced in December 2020 that the Power Curbers 5700-D<\/a> awarded as a Top 100 New Product of 2020. Only seven total entries populated the Paving & Compaction category. It is exciting to receive this recognition so soon after the curb & gutter machine’s introduction\u2014the 5700-D awarded in its first year of service.

Construction Equipment describes their award program, “Our Top 100 New Products of 2020 Award<\/a> program was conceived to call special attention to the most significant new products announced each year. These awards serve to emphasize innovations, highlighting manufacturers who are investing in research and development. Their investments pay off for equipment users in the form of greater productivity, efficiency, and safety. They also ensure a competitive marketplace.”

The 5700-D brings many new tools to the slipform operator. Enhanced technology in the SlipSmart Control Solution simplifies integration with Topcon, Leica, and Trimble 3-D control systems. The cross-slope controls are smoother, more responsive, and intuitive. Radius steer sensing is auto-calibrated. Speed controls feature finer scaling. A new “all-up” jog switch to raise or lower all crawler posts simultaneously. Master vibrator scale knob to increase or decrease hydraulic flow to all vibrators at once while maintaining relative adjustments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
