Features

Multipurpose

The 7700 is ideal for the contractor who does different types of work, including offset applications like barrier and variable barrier, bridge parapet, or ditches, as well as road paving applications. The machine’s flexibility means it can handle custom designs for other types of offset applications, such as tunnel work.

Simplicity

The 7700 features a fully hydraulic telescoping frame that does not require bolt-on extensions for width changes or time-consuming frame modifications when switching from paving to offset mode.

Transitioning from paving to offset mode has never been easier thanks to the Simple Steer Track Positioning System, which aligns all four crawlers into their new position, all with the touch of a button.

The folding belt conveyor is hydraulically controlled and pivots easily to switch from left- to right-side pouring for offset applications.

The 7700 is also stringless-capable, so you can use it with 3D/GPS machine controls.

Visibility

The operator’s console can be repositioned for left- or right-side pouring or paving for maximum visibility from the platform. The operator is always in the optimal position for every job.

The wraparound walkway offers full visibility of the jobsite, as well as easy access for maintenance.

Productivity

Each crawler has its own individual hydrostatic pump and uses a true power-to-ground system to ensure smooth paving at the lowest speeds.

Vibrators can be individually controlled and adjusted and are linked together for simple system-wide adjustment using Proportionate Master Control.

The conveyor on the 7700 will meet the most challenging conditions for placing concrete for large offset applications.

Secondary sensor on/off controls are located on each leg, allowing the crew to adjust the sensors from the ground, such as for moving the sensors around obstacles while pouring.

Paving Mode

The 7700 is a fully functional road paver, with dowel bar, tie bar, and center bar inserters available.

As a paver, the 7700 also features hydraulic sides, edge overbuild, and crowning capabilities. Optional features include a tamper bar, auger or plow, and finishers.

Offset Mode

The 7700 can handle even the largest offset applications, including barrier, variable barrier, tunnel work, ditches, agriculture projects, sidewalks, and paths up to 12 ft (3.7 m) wide, and more.

Zero-Clearance Mode

The 7700 can be configured so that the paving pan is offset to the rear of the machine. This allows it to travel within the profile of the pavement, so that there are no side-clearance requirements. The conveyor is positioned under the machine so that concrete trucks can easily unload.
